Asparagus setaceus Pyramidalis

Asparagus setaceus Pyramidalis is an decorative foliage plant, with a bushy, upright habit. It forms shoots of lacy, fern-like plumes, with a dense pyramid-like growth. Asparagus setaceus is native to tropical and subtropical parts of eastern and southern Africa, where it grows as an evergreen perennial scrub in rainforests and forest edges.

Keep well-watered, but do not allow to stand in water. Less water is required during the winter but doesn’t let the soil dry out completely

Due to their vigorous growth habit, Asparagus may become pot-bound. If required, re-pot during springtime. Trim in winter/ early spring to maintain desired size and shape. Thorns can be sharp so take care when handling
