Anthurium veitchii is famous for its large, elongated, and deeply ribbed leaves, which can reach impressive sizes. The leaves are typically dark green with a matte finish, and their prominent ribs create a dramatic, textured look. The leaf shape is somewhat undulating or wavy, giving the plant an almost sculptural quality.
Thrives in bright, indirect light. It does best in well-lit areas but should be shielded from direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn and damage the plant’s appearance.
Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Anthurium veitchii prefers consistently moist soil but is susceptible to root rot if overwatered. Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to maintain healthy roots.
