This is a more demanding, collector-type plant that does best in greenhouse-like conditions, especially due to its need for constant moisture and high humidity. Thrives in warm conditions (22–30°C). Very sensitive to cold—avoid temperatures below ~18°C.
Prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some gentle direct sun, but avoid harsh midday exposure to prevent leaf burn.
Unlike many aroids, it enjoys consistently wet conditions. Keep the substrate constantly moist—some growers even keep it in semi-aquatic setups. Never let it dry out completely.
Toxic if ingested (contains calcium oxalate crystals), so keep away from pets and children.
