Ceropegia woodii, also known as string of hearts is a succulent native to South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. It is an evergreen succulent trailing vine that grows to 10 centimeters in height and spreads to reach up to 2–4 meters in length. The stems of Ceropegia woodii have a purple hue and the leaves are heart-shaped (hence the name) with silver markings.
Pot size: 6 cm (diameter)
Plant size: 10-15 cm (without the pot)
String of hearts likes to be pot bound- we recommend growing it in the same pot for at least a couple of years. Ceropegia woodii is a perfect plant for busy people as it is really easy to take care of and will survive if you forget to water her.
Bright spot, can whit-stand a few hours of sunshine a day
As opposed to most succulents, needs regular (possibly weekly) watering in summer and much less in winter but only when the potting mix is dry to touch
Avoid cold draughts
