Native to tropical regions, as houseplants, Rex Begonias are good-natured – they are as easy to care for as they are easy on the eyes. They require little maintenance and pruning isn’t necessary. ‘Escargot’ begonias grow best in areas with high humidity, but excessive watering can cause fungal diseases or rot.
