Amorphophallus Atroviridis is a gorgeous aroid with beautifully shaped, dark green leaves that have red leaf margins and undersides and are velvety to the touch.

Amorphophallus Atroviridis is a tuberous plant that goes into dormancy during winter. Only water it very sparingly during this time in order to avoid rot on the tuber. With the right care, the plant will flower around June or July and produce an inflorescence with creamy-white spathe and long yellowish spadix.

Allow potting mix to dry out before watering. Soil about 3 cm down should be dry to touch. Water more frequently during warmer months and fertilize during the growing season. During the dormancy period, almost no watering is required.
